My Big Girl Bed!

Who knew this could be so fun? Mommy and daddy set up a toddler bed for me in my room and I have been sleeping in it since Saturday with NO problems. I haven't gotten out of bed or put up any fuss at all! In fact, I love it so much that I often stay in it long after I have woken up from my nap reading my books and playing with my babies. 2 days ago, I did not even want mommy to tuck me in and read a book before my nap. I was feeling independent so I pushed her out of the room, closed the door and said "No, mommy" and put myself to bed. Who says 2 year olds aren't big girls? Here is a picture of me from yesterday when mommy found me asleep after I had been reading some books mid-morning in my bed. Notice the pacis (in each hand AND my mouth)...sometimes I just like to lay back and relax with a good book and some pacis!

Fall Fun!

Well, it has been a while since the last update so this may include a lot of pics. We have been having so much fun this fall we have forgotten to update! Oh, we also had a little computer virus problem that may have had a little to do with it :) So, here is the quick version. We have been to Gentry's farm to see the pumpkin patch and play on the slides and in the mazes (that was my favorite part!). I met my friend Jacob there and we had a blast. I also helped mommy carve our pumpkin. I wasn't very fond of pumpkin guts though. When mommy asked me to pull the seeds out I gave it a try and then said "mommy do it."

I also got to go trick-or-treating for the 1st time. I dressed up as a ladybug (but I like to call it a butterfly). I went with my friends Abby, Ellie and Kate. We had a blast running from yard to yard and I caught on very quick to this whole tradition! Free candy! Here are some pics before and after (eating the fruits of our labor). Happy fall y'all!
