Our First Few Days...

It has been a fun week here at home! Aliza is becoming accustomed to her new home and her noisy older sister :) Amelia loves to help out and is very concerned when her little sister cries. I am just going to post some pictures because I want some sleep but she seems like she has changed so much already! Here is Aliza with her Aunt Allie. And here is one of the cutest babies in the world! I'm not biased :)

Proud to present...

My new baby sister Aliza! Or as I like to call her "baby Yiza." I fell in love with her immediately. I love to hold her and give her a paci (& toys & blankies & hugs & kisses!). I have already helped mommy and daddy change diapers, rock her to sleep and kiss her night-night. I think I have the hang of this big sister thing. Here are some great pics of us together. Today was her first day home. Mommy even says that she is feeling pretty good herself.

She's Here!!!!

Shawn and Audra welcomed their beautiful daughter (and yes, I can say that because I am her best friend and I am completely unbiased) Aliza Noelle at 10:25 p.m. tonight. She weighed 8 pounds and almost 6 ounces, and she is so precious. We are trying to figure out who she looks like:) She is having her first bath right now and daddy is with her taking pictures. I just wanted to give you all a quick update, and Audra will be back soon with more details!!!!! Thank you for your prayers....

Is she Coming?

Well, first off I would like to point out that the countdown for baby girl Tilden says that she is 1 day old and yet she remains in my body! That makes me laugh. But, hopefully there is an end in sight. I am sitting at the computer at 4am trying to distract myself from the contractions that are now 8-9 minutes apart. We pray that this is it and we would love your prayers as well for a safe delivery. I hope that you will check back for an announcement about our new little girl.

I can't believe it! Will my baby sister ever get here? Mommy is still waiting. We are so thankful for all of your prayers and hope they will continue through her birthday :) Just thought that I would show you a cute picture of me today baking in my play kitchen. Aunt Angie and her girls bought me this great kitchen gear for my bday. Let's just say if I do not become a veterinarian I may be the next Rachael Ray!
