Aliza is 4 months old!! What?!? I can't believe it. I took her for her 4 month appointment on Friday and she is a big girl. She weighs 14lbs 13.5 oz and is 25" tall which puts her close to the 90th percentile in height and 75th for weight. Our children are not lacking in calories :) She is such a happy sweet baby...but NOT after her shots. This is her 2nd round and she reacted the same exact way. She screamed for at least 10 minutes until I physically removed her from the Doctors office. Then she calmed down almost immediately. Amelia is my tough child and Aliza is my drama queen. I can't wait to see how her personality is displayed at older ages (or maybe I can :)) Here is our big girl playing in her exersaucer. She is also rolling over now!
I love having little girls. I don't know what I would do sometimes if I had a little boy. He would probably get dressed up in fairy outfits and wear tiaras like Amelia and Aliza :) We had some fun yesterday afternoon on the front porch swinging and wearing our crowns. Amelia even shared with Aliza who seemed to know right away that she was meant to be a princess as well!
Well, we were enjoying a little time on the front porch this afternoon when Amelia discovered that pouring water from her watering can onto our front walkway made some great mud puddles. She was having so much fun mixing mud with her hands that I couldn't stop her. She wasn't making too much of a mess until SOMEhow she managed to land face first (literally) on her belly in the mud. I can't help but laugh. So, we went straight from this...into the tub! Aliza has discovered that she LOVES to eat her toes. She sucks on her big toe like most children suck a thumb. I love our kids :)
