Who knew this could be so fun? Mommy and daddy set up a toddler bed for me in my room and I have been sleeping in it since Saturday with NO problems. I haven't gotten out of bed or put up any fuss at all! In fact, I love it so much that I often stay in it long after I have woken up from my nap reading my books and playing with my babies. 2 days ago, I did not even want mommy to tuck me in and read a book before my nap. I was feeling independent so I pushed her out of the room, closed the door and said "No, mommy" and put myself to bed. Who says 2 year olds aren't big girls? Here is a picture of me from yesterday when mommy found me asleep after I had been reading some books mid-morning in my bed. Notice the pacis (in each hand AND my mouth)...sometimes I just like to lay back and relax with a good book and some pacis!

thats awesome can I rent her so she can train mine she does not sleep in her bed mine always yikes i know. i need her asleep then i move her to her bed
I HAD to stop by, found you in blog land, my oldest daughter's name is Audra, and I LOVE the name Amelia, it was one of my picks for baby number two (she is actually Elliot now, a marital compromise!) My husband liked the name Elliot if we had a boy...we had a girl, and SHE took the name Elliot, she rocks and can totally handle it (she's 18 months old!)

I have a little girl who will be two in January. I struggle so much with the "Binka's", she absolutly has to have one in her mouth and one in each hand. We tease her that she must need a lot of comfort! Your post made me smile!
Glad to see that my daughter isn't the only one still loving her paci! Amelia was on our short list when Julia was born (October 2, 2006). Did you know that October 5th is the most popular birthday of the whole year?
Awwwww! My oldest rocked her binkies like that until she was 2 1/2 years old. We went to Build-A-Bear (after setting her up to let go of them for months) and they put her binky in her bear, which she promptly named Binky Bear.
