The Scoot...

Aliza FINALLY is "crawling." She is 10 months old (the age at which Amelia started WALKING) and she has finally decided that she does want to move from room to room. This is how she does it :) It is more like a little wounded animal than an actual crawl.

She has already been into the dog dishes and knocked down the fireplace grate since last night. It is a whole new world.

so cute! i love it when kids finally start to get into things (and hate it at the same time)

but i can't leave without leaving a note: make sure she learns to crawl on her hands and knees! i'm a physical therapist for kiddos ages 0-3 and the scooting is a REALLY hard habit to break and crawling on her hands and knees will help prepare her brain for activities that involve both sides of her body, including school stuff such as reading and writing!! crazy!?!!

How cute! I love it! Ellison NEVER crawled. She took her first steps at 11 1/2 months, then scooted (like what Aliza was doing) at 12 months, then just walked all the time at 13 months. I never knew what a crawling baby looked like :)

She's just really smart...it would hurt her knees on the wood. Adam used to do that on the wood and then crawl on the carpet! GO ALIZA!!!!!!
