This past weekend mommy and I went on a little vacation all by ourselves to North Carolina while daddy was at a conference in Colorado. It was a LONG 6 hour drive in the car, but I managed quite well. We went to visit mommy's friends Andrea and Stuart and their kids, Aidan (2) and Courtlynn (6 mos). I had a pretty good time watching Aidan and playing with all of his toys. However, I wasn't all that fond of Courtlynn...well, really I liked her until mommy held her. Then I got a little jealous :) We had fun going to Buffalo Beal's petting zoo where I fed camels, goats, cows, chickens, saw monkeys and lots of other animals. A lot of kids are afraid to stick their hands in a large animal's mouth but NOT ME! I love animals! Here are some great pictures...
And, so that you are not confused about how large those camels really are in co
mparison to me...We also went to the science center and got to pet sting rays and turtles and make our shadows on the wall :) But, mostly we just had relaxing fun at home

So sweet. Amelia is so brave around animals! I am not sure why it doesnt transfer to Jeff. He kinda looks like an animal.
