Here are a few things that we have been doing since the last post. Amelia is just getting so big. She even looks more like a little girl everyday with her long hair, long legs and beautiful smile. She will be 2 years old on Oct. 5. I can't believe it. She has been talking a LOT more these days and she is getting more and more independent and stubborn. We love her to death though. She is so funny and loving. Here she is playing in the lawn at the Belle Meade plantation. We took her there for the fall festival. She had a blast jumping off of the steps and running into mommy's arms laughing hysterically (glad we paid $20 to get in and do this :)). She LOVES music and her new favorite thing is to sit on daddy's lap in the morning after breakfast and "play" the guitar.
Finally, she is very much into accessorizing these days. She loves to choose her own shoes and dress herself (complete with 2 legs in 1 panty hole) she is still getting the hang of it. One of her newest sayings is "momma, I yike it!" (Pointing to something she likes or thinks is pretty). One of her favorite "yikes" is momma's earrings. So, when she is particularly sweet she gets to wear some of mommy's earrings (hooked over the back of her ears). She stares at herself in the mirror and just smiles and smiles.
