This past weekend Shawn was away at a men's conference and us girls had some super fun! We went to the zoo with friends, we went out to dinner at Panera (Amelia says it is her new favorite eatery :)), went to Target to choose some birthday gifts with Amelia's birthday money, we went to an Arts & Crafts festival in Bell Buckle, TN, went to a surprise birthday party where the kids played with some little friends, went to church and finally to grandma & papa's...whew! It was a jam packed weekend and we had a blast! If you were one of the people who sent Amelia some birthday money you may be interested to know she chose some "reader" books (books that are interactive with her TAG reader)...Tinkerbell and Dora...and some pink Hello Kitty rain boots. I am not sure why, but she has wanted rainboots for a while. So, we indulged! It was hot and packed in Bell Buckle but so much fun. We met some friends there and there was live music to dance to, lots of fun things to see including cloggers AND arts and crafts :) Here are some pics...
