I took my first steps toward freedom from crawling last Saturday. I have a walker that converts to a small car to ride on that I have never really known what to do with. Boy, if I had only figured this out sooner. I can get everywhere with this thing! I am working hard toward doing this on my own but for now I enjoy getting around without destroying my knees on the hard wood floors! I am very proud of myself and love to get attention from "walking." Here is a video of my first day walking around. Since this video I have pretty well mastered the art of controlling the scooter to go in the direction that I need it to go (unless I need to turn 180 degrees).
